In return for financial support each of the above mentioned organisations is specifically linked to one of the major events conducted by IPAA each year. These include the Annual Reports Awards for Commonwealth government departments and agencies reporting under the FMA Act and CAC Act, and the ACT Government as well as the online reports of eligible departments and agencies.

The Institute conducts the Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Sector Management and two of the supporters will take a major role in this. In addition to these the Institute conducts various functions throughout the year specifically with each of the supporters and places advertisements in its publication Today magazine.

At all IPAA functions the logos of all our supporters are prominently displayed, and promotional material is available for the information of attendees.

IPAA ACT wishes to acknowledge the major role played by its corporate supporters in promoting the Institute and its vision and goals in both public and private sectors and looks forward to maintaining these valuable relationships.

IPAA is a professional non-political organisation with divisions in all Australian states and territories. IPAA is coordinated by a National Council. In the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), the Institute serves as an important source of information and opinion on issues of government policy, innovation and reform. 

Membership

IPAA-ACT-MembersMembership of the ACT Division of IPAA is open to those who have a continuing interest or involvement in public administration and management. The Institute is a professional non-political organisation with divisions in all states and territories and coordinated by a National Council.

The ACT Division is managed by a council of elected members and an Executive Director. The council is elected by postal ballot and announced at the Annual General Meeting held prior to 30 September in each year.
