The need for clear and useful performance measures is increasingly important for public sector agencies, as shown by recent changes to the PGPA Act and Auditor-General Act. The PGPA Act calls for increased emphasis by public agencies on measuring the performance against an agencies' purpose, while the Auditor-General Act allows for audit of performance measures. The recent, twice sold-out, presentation by the Deputy Auditor-General to the Canberra Evaluation Forum reinforces the growing focus on performance measurement. One of the points of discussion raised during the March 20 presentation was the lack of resources and capability in the public sector in being able to cope adequately with these substantive changes to governance that are occurring in the near future. Terms and Conditions

Cancellation policy - No refunds will be given if you are a corporate member and pay without checking list.
No refunds will be given unless notification of inability to attend is received 10 working days prior to the event. Substitutes are always encouraged.

Program changes - IPAA ACT reserves the right to change programs/speakers, or to cancel programs if enrolment criteria are not met or when conditions beyond its control prevail. All registrants will be notified in the event of cancellation and their registration fee will be refunded.

Privacy policy - IPAA ACT is committed to protecting the privacy of information collected about its members and clients. The Institute collects information as required in order to administer and manage registrations for its courses and events. If registrants do not provide all the relevant information, registrations may not be confirmed. In some cases, names and agencies will appear on a participant list distributed to participants in a course or event. Individuals who wish to access their personal information or have any queries in relation to the manner in which the Institute handles personal information, can contact IPAA ACT on 02 62516060.

Event photography - IPAA ACT events are photographed and recorded. Photos and recordings will be kept by IPAA ACT and may be used for non-commercial promotional purposes including websites, publications, social media and other new technologies. Please inform the photographer if you do not want your photograph taken.
