IPAA-ACT-AboutUS The Public Sector plays a vital role in the daily lives of all Australians. Now, one organisation is playing a leading role in the activities of the public sector. Through a range of far reaching and innovative programs, the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) is enhancing the work and influence of the sector throughout the country.

IPAA is a professional non-political organisation with divisions in all Australian states and territories. IPAA is coordinated by a National Council. In the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), the Institute serves as an important source of information and opinion on issues of government policy, innovation and reform.
