Public Administration Today

About PAT

Our main publication is the quarterly Public Administration Today (PAT). PAT replaced the Canberra Bulletin of Public Administration (CBPA) in September 2004.PAT aims to generate debate and disseminate information about major trends and developments in public sector management in Australia, with a particular focus on the national level. The principal aim of the PAT is to provide information and generate discussion and debate about public sector management practice. It also is a journal of record for major conferences and speeches by leading public servants, academics and politicians. It is a valuable resource for researchers and those who simply want to keep up with what is happening in public management in Australia.

PAT welcomes contributions from anyone with an interest in public sector management in Australia. An author’s guide (Word - 35KB) is available for contributors. Contributions should be submitted in electronic format to general@act.ipaa.org.au.

PAT is provided free to all individual and corporate members of IPAA ACT. Some members of IPAA in other States and Territories also receive free copies. Non-members can take an annual subscription for $93.50 (incl. GST).

We are planning to develop an index of the PAT to enable readers to locate topics covered in past issues.  As this project progresses we will add more information on this web site.
