Learning from Failure: Professor Peter Shergold AC

IPAA partnered with the Australian Public Service Commission to deliver this timely event with keynote speaker, Professor Shergold AC. 

Guests heard Professor Shergold discuss his 2015 report, Learning from Failure: Why large government policy initiatives have gone so badly wrong in the past and how the chances of success in the future can be improved. Professor Shergold reflected on the findings of the independent review that examined Government processes for developing and implementing large public programs and projects. The review, led by Professor Shergold, followed the 2013 Royal Commission into the Home Insulation Program.
