2020 Williams Oration | Christine Morgan

On 22 September 2020, IPAA ACT hosted the 2020 Williams Oration with Christine Morgan, Chief Executive Officer of the National Mental Health Commission and National Suicide Prevention Adviser to the Prime Minister which was filmed at the IPAA office in Barton.

Ms Morgan's address was followed by a panel who reflected on the importance of mental health within the public sector context. Panellists were Janean Richards, Chief Operating Officer at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources; Iain Anderson, Deputy Secretary at the Attorney-General's Department; and Dr Catherine Kelaher, Principal Medical and Health Adviser at the Department of Health’s Office of Health Protection. The panel was chaired by Heather Cook, Deputy Director-General at the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation and IPAA ACT Councillor.
