Initiatives or contributions that help strengthen the culture and capability for innovation – to develop a mindset where doing things better is a daily habit. This is about engaging or empowering staff to test ideas and experiment.

Digital, data and technology to innovate
Initiatives that harness digital and data to deliver a fundamentally new offering and/or provide significantly better public services.
There will also be a Judges' Award for a nomination from any of the above categories that stands out from the crowd. It could be a disruptor, a start-up, an experimental trial, an “honourable failure”, or something that little bit different!
