OPEN POSITIONS

Business Manager

Canberra based
$86,330 to $103,757 (plus 10.5% superannuation) APS 6 equivalent
Fixed term (12 months with option to extend)
Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Business Manager to join us on a 12 month contract with an opportunity to extend. You’ll be working in a small, dynamic team who unite to deliver quality events that showcase excellence in public administration. You will work closely with our Corporate Director and Chief Executive Officer to ensure robust governance and business practices are maintained for the organisation. You’ll be focused on the management and coordination of IPAA ACT’s Board, Council, and committee meetings, as well as seeking to promote a culture of continuous improvement in the organisation’s approach to its business maturity.

Communications and Engagement Officer

Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

The Communications and Engagement Manager is responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of communication and branding activities supporting IPAA products, services, and events across channels. The Communications and Engagement Manager works independently and is accountable for the performance of the team to ensure effective promotion, delivery, and support for IPAA.

Events Manager

Canberra based
$86,330 to $103,757 (plus 10.5% superannuation) APS 6 equivalent
Fixed term (12 months with option to extend)
Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to take an important role as Event Manager. The ideal person will be organised and reliable and will have experience organising and delivering events. The role involves a high degree of autonomy and will be rewarding for someone with initiative and energy. You will be an integral part of a small and dynamic team, working under the direction of the Program Director.  

The Event Manager will support the Program Director to develop and deliver the IPAA ACT program. This includes responsibility for the oversight of logistics for IPAA ACT events, including coordinating venues, AV, digital transmission, registration and ticket management, calendars, and event evaluations. The Event Manager is also responsible for the supervision of a small events delivery team including the Event Coordinator.

Program Support Officer

Canberra based
$69,629 to $78,675 (plus 10.5% superannuation) APS 4 equivalent
Fixed term (12 months with option to extend)
Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

The Program Support Officer will support the Capability Manager to deliver IPAA ACT’s Capability Programs. This includes managing the programs nominations and registration processes, coordinating of venues and suppliers as well as management of key stakeholder relationship. The Program Support Officer is responsible for providing a high level of support to program participants.

Project Officer

Canberra based
$77,083 - $87,954 (plus 10.5% superannuation) APS 5 equivalent
Fixed term (12 months with option to extend)
Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

The Project Officer works closely with the Corporate Director and the CEO to oversee operational, strategic and change management projects for IPAA ACT. The position works as part of a small, collegiate team to deliver ongoing value to IPAA ACT members, as part of an organisation dedicated to improving public administration.

Project Officer (IPAA National)

Canberra based
$86,330 to $103,757 (plus 10.5% superannuation) APS 6 equivalent
Fixed term (12 months with option to extend)
Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

The Project Officer is responsible for providing support to the National Director to deliver projects including events, conferences and awards in collaboration with the IPAA ACT team
