IPAA statement on COVID-19

IPAA is carefully monitoring the situation in relation to COVID-19 and the impact on our program and event series.

On Thursday 13 March the Board of Directors made a decision to defer the IPAA ACT conference from 31 March to October. While regrettable, the decision had regard to the rapid and uncertain evolution of the COVID-19 outbreak. Given the current situation deferring the conference was agreed to be the most prudent course of action.

We are currently working through the impact on the broader IPAA program and events over the coming months, and will provide further advice soon. This will include decisions relating to the Graduate Data Network and the Future Leaders Program, both due to occur in April. IPAA will be guided by advice as it becomes available and will update this statement accordingly.

The health and wellbeing of our staff and members is paramount and our approach is to manage the situation in a balanced, calm and measured way.
