IPAA ACT and DESIGN Canberra Festival 2016 invite you to their second partnered event celebrating cultural diversity, design thinking and social innovation.
Join us for this free event with keynote speaker Giovanna Massoni, Artistic Director of RECIPROCITY Design Liege, Belgium’s landmark design festival focused on design for social inclusion. Giovanna is a world-leading design thinker and advocate for the role of design in the contemporary world, particularly as a vehicle for re-imagining human social relations. She facilitates projects that champion cultural and social inclusion in the context of the social dynamics of the contemporary world, re-imagining systems and places that put people in touch with each other, the services they use and the places they inhabit.

Giovanna Massoni is an Italian art and design freelance journalist and independent design consultant. Since September 2011, she has been the artistic director for RECIPROCITY design liege, the International Triennial of Design for Social Innovation of Liège, Belgium. She is an internationally recognised festival director and curator who has worked and consulted with Design Singapore Council, Milan Design Week and the European Economic and Social Committee.
