Innovation is key to improving efficiency and the 2019 IPAA Conference will explore how effective change can be made and the skills required to deliver it.
Mr Alexander Lau from Singapore’s Transformation and Innovation Lab is one of several keynote speakers who will address the conference. Mr Lau is the Lab’s Principal Design Lead and will provide a global perspective on how to adopt innovation into the public sector based on his experience in building innovation capabilities and mindsets across the Singapore Public Service.
The 2019 Garran Oration will be delivered on the opening morning of the conference by Professor Mick Dodson, Northern Territory Treaty Commissioner. Other keynote speakers include Professor Anne Tiernan, Dean (Engagement) at Griffith University and Ms Lil Anderson, Acting Chief Executive for the Office for Māori Crown Relations (Te Arawhiti).
