IPAA is pleased to host a Secretary Series address with Nick Warner AO PSM, Director-General National Intelligence, as special guest speaker.
Nick Warner became the first Director-General National Intelligence on 20 December 2018 when the Office of National Assessments (ONA) transitioned to the Office of National Intelligence (ONI). Nick had been Director-General of ONA since 1 December 2017. Prior to taking up this position, he was Director-General of the Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS), a position he occupied from August 2009.
Nick has held a number of senior positions in his 40-year career of public service, including Secretary of the Department of Defence and Senior Advisor (International) to the Prime Minister.
Special condition – this event will only be open to current employees of the Australian Public Service (APS) and attendees may be required to show their APS identification upon entry. Please be aware that registrations will only be accepted from gov.au email addresses.
