2021 Future leaders Summit: Resilience, Digital Networks, Leadership

Join us online for the 2021 IPAA ACT Future Leaders Summit.

The IPAA ACT Future Leaders Summit brings together future and senior leaders to interrogate and workshop practical tips and strategies around major themes identified by future leaders in the public sector.

Developed for APS6 to EL1 equivalent staff, the program features two masterclasses and a panel session. Deloitte is presenting the first masterclass on Resilience, Wellbeing and Burnout, bringing in Andrew Colvin APM OAM and Kirsten Watson to discuss their own crucible moments and personal journeys with resilience and burnout, as well as considering global research into wellbeing and resilience in senior leaders.

The second masterclass on Networks in the Digital Era with Belinda Casson and Rachael Jackson examines the importance of creating strong and genuine relationships with an ecosystem of stakeholders. The session considers the challenges of developing and maintaining networks digitally, and provides tips and techniques for overcoming these challenges.

The final session brings Dr Damian West together with alumni of IPAA ACT’s Future Leaders Program to discuss the perennial theme of leadership at all levels. The panel will discuss the importance of an egalitarian ideas culture and consider the ways senior leaders can properly empower and get the best out of the crucial junior leaders in their ranks.

This is a three-hour virtual event, and further speakers will be announced shortly.

We hope you can join us for this year’s Future Leaders Summit.
