Register now!

IPAA ACT, in partnership with the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Australian Public Service Commission, presents the 2023 Annual Address to the APS.

After a year that saw several shocks and challenges, what will the future of public service look like? Join us to hear from Professor Glyn Davis AC, Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, as he reflects on the year that was and the changes underway in the public service. Secretary Davis will consider how service delivery has shifted over time, focusing on the contracting out of public services, the results of recent roundtable discussions with experts from across government, industry and academia, and new approaches that challenge us to think about how we deliver better services for people.

Professor Davis will deliver his keynote together with Dr Gordon de Brouwer PSM, Australian Public Service Commissioner who will close the event.

Katherine Jones, Secretary, Attorney-General’s Department and IPAA ACT president, will be chairing this event.

Dr Caroline Hughes will be providing the Welcome to Country. Dr Hughes is a proud Ngunnawal woman and Executive Director, Collections Services Group at AIATSIS.

What you will learn

Go home with some key takeaways on
