Registrations opening soon

The Australian Government Data Forum is your opportunity to hear from an impressive line-up of senior thought leaders and academics from the public and private sector on how data can be used to inform the delivery of policy and programs that accurately reflect current trends within the Australian community. This full day forum program offers a mixture of keynote addresses, Q&A sessions, data presentations and panel discussions open to graduates and new starters within the data sector nationwide.

The Australian Government Data Forum will encourage graduates and new starters within the public service to build their data literacy and to engage in compelling discussions about the use of data and data-driven technologies. This event aims to increase:

  • knowledge-sharing,
  • capability development,
  • cross-agency networking, and
  • tangible solutions to data challenges facing the APS.

The forum will be followed by the inaugural APS Data Awards Dinner 2023. You can find more information about the APS Data Awards Dinner here.

This event is delivered in partnership with the Graduate Data Network (GDN), the Office of the National Data Commissioner (ONDC), the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), APS Data Profession and the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) ACT.

Please note that all commonwealth departments, the ACT Public Service and a large number of commonwealth agencies are members of IPAA ACT. Click here to see if your organisation is a corporate member.
