Future Leaders Hackathon 2023 - Shape the future of integrity culture in the public service

Findings from the Royal Commission into Robodebt and challenges around the use of consultants in public service work have had a profound impact on the nation and shaken those dedicated to serving the public. 

This virtual event is your chance to explore future opportunities and challenges facing the public sector around pride, trust, and integrity. With your help, we’ll delve into scenarios that may arise, and discuss best work practices in the public sector. 

Together, we will answer the following questions relating to those scenarios:  

• What signs hinted at potential problems? 
• What proactive steps could have prevented the challenge? 
• What cultural shifts are necessary to deter a recurrence? 
• How can the public sector rebuild trust and instil a revitalised sense of purpose?
