Historical Awards

IPAA ACT’s annual Awards programs recognise and encourage excellence in public administration.

Historically, the Awards included:

• Public Sector Innovation Awards - recognising, celebrating and sharing innovation in the Australian Public Service and the ACT Public Service.
• Prime Ministers’ Awards for Excellence in Public Sector Management - encouraging and recognising better practice and innovation in all levels of Government in Australia - Commonwealth, State/Territory and Local Government.

IPAA ACT also ran the Annual Report Awards between 1983 and 2016. 

From 2021, IPAA will run the Spirit of Servce Awards that reflects the leadership and excellence practices of a contemporary public sector.
