The IPAA ACT Mentoring Program aims to provide a unique and exciting development opportunity to build on your career performance and connect you with professional individuals and networks from across the Australian Public Service and ACT public sector, those seeking to mentor others (mentors) and those seeking to be mentored (mentees).
The program is run exclusively for IPAA ACT Corporate and Individual members across one intake per year. The pairing of mentors and mentees is undertaken by IPAA ACT, ensuring that mentors and mentees are hand selected from a range of portfolios across the Australian Public Service and the ACT Public Service.
The IPAA ACT Mentoring Program is an interactive series of four events delivered over a four month period, usually from April to July. The program is based around four segments, as follows:
In the 2017 Mentoring Program, increased support and resources was provfor mentees throughout the entire duration of the Program. IPAA also assisted in facilitating initial one-on-one sessions between mentors and mentees.
The total cost of the program is $690 per participant (GST inclusive) which is run on a cost-recovered basis.
The Program will run again in 2018. Nominations for the 2018 Mentoring Program are not yet open.
