Reflections on Advising Government: a US Perspective

On Wednesday 27 June, IPAA ACT hosted a keynote address from Jessica Mathews, Distinguished Fellow, Carnegie Endowment for Peace. The event was held at the Acton Theatre at the Crawford School of Public Policy and was hosted by Professor Helen Sullivan.

In this ‘In Conversation’ event with Jessica, we heard reflections from a lifetime of providing advice from inside and outside of the United States government. How to create a diversity of career experience within the public service, and the benefits this can bring to individuals and to the public sector, was debated.
