An SES perspective on EA Connections and Expectations - 15 November 2016

On 15 September 2016, IPAA held it's third EA Series to a sold out lunctime event to discuss the SES perspective on EA Connections and Expectations.

Guests heard from a dynamic panel of SES who shared their insights and reflections of the relationships with their Executive Assistant - what works and what doesn’t. The panel reflected on how the one-on-one dynamic is crucial - sometimes more so than skills or experience – drawing on why the relationship has to be a strategic partnership.

The SES panel comprised of:

  • Trish Bergin, General Manager, People, Communication and Legal
    Department of Education and Training
  • Ben Wyers, Assistant Secretary, People, Strategy and Policy Branch
Department of Immigration and Border Protection
  • Bronwen Overton-Clarke, Commissioner for Public Administration
    ACT Government
  • Drew Baker (Facilitator), CEO
    Institute of Public Administration Australia
