LEADING THROUGH A CRISIS WITH DR KEN HENRY AC AND DR DAVID GRUEN

How do you lead a team during times of crisis and upheaval? This is a question many people around the world have recently grappled with, including those in the Australian Public Service. In this episode we are joined by Dr David Gruen, Australian Statistician at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and Dr Ken Henry AC, Chair of The Sir Roland Wilson Foundation at the Australian National University and former Secretary of The Treasury. Hosted by Isabelle Franklin and Megan Aponte-Payne from IPAA ACT's Future Leaders Committee, the discussion explores leadership during the Global Financial Crisis, and now through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It considers what major disruptions can teach us about leadership, and how these experiences influence leadership styles.
